Westside Legacy Trail
The 24km Markin-MacPhail Westside Legacy Trail is a multi-use, non-motorized, paved recreational trail that runs along the west side of Lake Windermere. It joins the communities of Invermere and Fairmont Hot Springs.
It is a great place to go for a summer afternoon ride and enjoy the amazing views of the valley!

The Whiteway
The Whiteway is a 31km groomed track that runs all the way around Lake Windermere and connects the towns of Invermere and Windermere.
It is the World’s Longest Skating Path and has tracks for classic cross-country and skate skiing, and a cleared ice-skating track. Also great for Fat Bikes.

Mount Swansea Trails
Mt. Swansea has an amazing network of intermediate to advanced downhill style trails that are accessible via shuttle or by pedalling the uptrack.

Lillian Lake/Kloosifier
38+km of easily accessible riding near Invermere! Primarily cross-country riding and it is one of the first areas to thaw after the winter months.
Don't forget to jump in the lake after your ride to cool down.
Also great for Fat Bikes in the winter!
Panorama Mountain Resort
Panorama Mountain Resort is home to one of the best downhill mountain bike parks in British Columbia's Kootenay-Rockies region. With high-speed chairlift access and more than 20 trails, the park offers riders of all abilities a multitude of options.
Panorama Bike Park has been a host of many BC and Canada Cup DH races and has a true national level championship track, Insanity.

The Columbia Valley Cycling Society is dedicated to growing the sport of cycling for the health and wealth of our community through a diverse and sustainable trail network.
This non-profit organization uses their membership fees to maintain and develop the trails we ride!
Cycling Without Age
Cycling Without Age Canada (CWACA) is a national organization dedicated to reducing social isolation and enhancing both mental and physical well-being for all Canadians.
Bike It Forward
Bike It Forward is an Invermere based non-profit that provides bicycles and helmets to those who could not otherwise afford them. Doug Charlton takes donations of unwanted bikes, fixes them up and matches them to a child, adult or whole family who would like a bike.
Boobs On Tubes
Boobs On Tubes is a women’s mountain bike collective rooted in strong riding, mutual support, and showing up fully on the trail. Built by and for women in the Columbia Valley, they create space for progression, confidence, and community through regular group rides and events throughout the season. Lakeside Bike Co. is proud to support Boobs On Tubes and help grow a stronger, more inclusive women’s cycling community in our region.
